Caving!!!

This is at 33 1/2 weeks and growing!

Nolan was 24 weeks in this photo. Kinda like a alien but every picture since then (and we have had a lot!!) he has had his legs or arms or both over his head.

Ok, I am going to give in...I am going to ATTEMPT to have a blog. Those of you who know and love me know that I stink at email! I am afraid that I will have one of those badly neglected blogs, but I am going to give it a shot.

As of today we are officially 27 days away from meeting our little guy, Nolan Michael. I pray that it's a bit sooner. I have been on bed rest for two and half weeks and ready to get my life back (I know that is all a myth!! My life will never be the same!).

This pregnancy has been a journey of faith. Because I miscarried my previous pregnancy and am high risk, I find myself continually surrendering my fears to the Lord that something is going to happen to Nolan before he is born. Almost three weeks ago my specialist discovered that the fluid levels in the placenta had dropped to a dangerously low level. So now I am allowed to get up and go to the bathroom. (Honest confession, I do a lot more than that.) Fortunately, the resting has worked and the fluid levels are back up to normal and I will remain "resting" until the end. I am reminded in the bed rest process how fiercely independent I am. I know this is sin and God and I are working on it...still!!

Since September we have been renovating the entire upstairs so that we have enough room for this little guy. I think that we will be finishing this weekend (PRAISE GOD!!!) and will be able to move our furniture up. Then I will be able to work on Nolan's nursery. I am getting the nesting bug and am so ready. I'll post pictures when I have some.

Many have wanted to see a picture of me pregnant. I gave in at a few showers and had my first pictures taken. I don't particularly want this phase of life documented- but this is reality, lets face it!!

We'll post pictures as soon as Nolan gets here. I am so ready to meet this little guy!!
