Home!!!

This is my new wonderful house! I love it and don't ever want to move until I am very old and grey and need someone to take care of me! We have a lot of work to do-especially in the kitchen and bathrooms, but we have time to do it. I haven't painted one wall yet but I have most of my colors picked out. When it is a little more updated I will share pictures. My back yard is wonderful. It has a few mature trees for shade, is very flat, a great size and totally fenced in. Rocky has been in heaven. Mostly, it is just a very quiet house on a very quiet cul-de-sac, in a very quiet neighborhood. I have to use a monitor or I will never hear Nolan. In our old house, that had no insulation, we heard everything and constantly woke Nolan up because the house was so loud. I am experiencing the new found freedom of taking a shower during nap time. Something I was unable to do because our shower was directly over his room. Can you hear the sigh of relief?? Come visit any time! :)

Looks can be deceiving...

He looks sweet and innocent, doesn't he?? This kid can get into some serious trouble and maybe whines more than any other toddler on the planet! I think it is the whining that drives me the craziest! I have had to resort to just putting him in his crib for a minute or two when he whines (ALL DAY!!!). It seems to be the only thing that communicates to him that his behavior is not acceptable. Any other suggestions out there?? As I often say, it's a good thing he is so cute!!! :)

 

 

15 months

This was Nolan "flying" on his 15 month birthday. Looks like a good day to me! :) We had his checkup and everything looks good. He still will not/cannot eat table food so we are going to another occupational therapist that specializes in eating programs. Hope this one works out. All I know is when baby #2 arrives I cannot sit around and feed Nolan pureed food. At least he is not loosing weight and is progressing right on schedule with everything else! 

 

Crazy & Cute!!

We found out today that we are closing on our house next wednesday and have to be out by Saturday! Let's just say I have not packed a thing!! This should be fun. 

The good news is that this little guy is so stinkin' cute! I love his smile and it is so hard to capture with a camera. This is on our back porch, which also needs to be packed. :(
