1 Month!!

Nolan is 1 month old today. We had his checkup and he is now 22.75 inches long and weighs 10lb. 3oz. He is in the 89th percentile for length (43% at birth) and 61st for weight (25% at birth). That's what I call a growing boy. To celebrate we went for a walk and I did crunches for the first time in at least 11 months. You know the saying use it or loose it? Totally true!! :) Here's to 4 weeks down. I am looking forward to that magical 6 week mark!

Big News!!!

Yesterday I got my wedding bands back on!! They had to take up residency in my jewelry box for the past 6 weeks. I am glad to have them back! It's the little things that keep me going! :)

At his 2 week checkup on tuesday he weighed in at 7 lb. 14 oz! way to gain some weight!

My parents have been here this week and my mom was such a huge help. She even took two night shifts with Nolan!!

Happy Tuesday!

I finally have a few minutes to update pictures between feedings and laundry. My life is so drastically different that just two weeks ago! For the first 9 days of Nolan's life he had Jerel and me convinced that he HAD to be held through the night. Needless to say or nights were hell. I felt like I was at the end of myself, and Nolan was inconsolable. After I talked to a lot of people and begged the Lord for insight, we have figured out his night schedule and now he only gets me up for the normal night feedings! I have never been so thankful for 3 hours of consecutive sleep! Other than that he has been so easy and an absolute joy! We are so thankful to have him in our lives! A rare moment with both of our eyes open
