Guess what we're doing...
We finally could no longer take the hideousness that was known as the boys/guest bathroom-so we ripped it out!! We are about 3/4 done with the renovation and I am in love!! I can't wait to show you the before and after! Hopefully after next weekend!!

THREE!!!
This past Sunday, my first born turned three. It's hard to believe that three years have passed since I brought that sweet baby home from the hospital. I tried to have a low-key party but it always ends up being more work than I anticipate. He had a really great day and I could tell felt special and celebrated!
I made him a train cake. I thought- oh great, this will be like making cupcakes. So quick and easy. So naive!! :) This was actually try #2- but I was happy with how it turned out. It was 100% edible- but difficult to photograph.
He is obsessed with all things John Deere and he also loves yard work. He was so proud of this!

Sous-Chef
Generally, for Valentines Day I make Jerel sugar cookies as my gift. I neither love nor hate this holiday, so I figure why go all out when one is indifferent. However, beginning in January we gave up sugar and white flour- so that made sugar cookies a no- no. BTW- Jerel has lost a ton and I have lost some. Typical. Anywho- I decided to make him dark chocolate covered strawberries instead. Fortunately, I had the cutest little helper. He helped me eat the chopped up walnuts that we toasted and rolled the yummieness in, and then he helped me lick chocolate off of any surface available for licking.
